World Leading Score for 5 Star Employers

Home Instead Sheffield and Barnsley have been ranked within the top five percent of health and social care companies worldwide in terms of care professional satisfaction.
All employees across the three offices of the home care company were invited to take part in an anonymous survey by independent employee engagement experts WorkBuzz.
Home Instead is delighted to have received an impressive Care Professional advocacy score of 91 – an overall mark showing how supportive an employer it is. The rating puts them as a global leader in their sector and gives them a ‘5 star’ accreditation.

94% of Care Professionals said they were proud to work for Home Instead, while 96% said felt motivated to do their best work.
Those who receive the company’s care were also surveyed, leading to exceptionally high satisfaction scores. This includes 98% of clients agreeing that they felt safe when their Care Professional visits, with satisfaction rates of 95% across Sheffield and Barnsley offices.
One review from a Care Professional reads: “From day one it has felt like being part of a “family” and everyone has made me feel welcome through training to meeting my first client. I am not constantly being “watched over” but reassuringly I know that support, advice and guidance is only a phone call away if needed with no question being too silly to ask. Personally, I get a tremendous feeling of being appreciated along with great job satisfaction. “
