Sheffield Family Fun Day

Here at Home Instead, we love to get out in the community. This August we’ll be hosting a free family fun day event at local pub, The Barrel, in Chapeltown, Sheffield from 12pm-4pm on the 3rd of August.

Completely free to attend and open to all who’d like to come along, every child will receive a free hotdog or burger from the BBQ, in addition to activities such as a colouring competition, fancy dress, reading corner, plus a DJ, a bouncy castle and an ice cream van.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue

We’ll be joined by the team at South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, who will be visiting with their fire engine for the children to chat with them, try on uniforms and explore the engine!

Local Author's Reading Corner

Local children’s author, Helen Hunt, will be reading her book ‘Steelosarus’ in the super comfy story corner at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm – to give the adults a break!
