I visited E’ today. S’, his wife, mentioned she has seen a significant improvement in E’s well-being. He is now willing to come downstairs and stroll in the garden with A and D his carers. E’s appetite has also improved.
She is happy with A’, and noticed E’ is now chatting more and he is doing more things independently.
S’ said that the consistency of the care has made E’ look forward to his visits, and they are now considering adding an additional visit in the future.
She thanked me for contacting the doctors and arranging additional visits when she has appointments.

O’ always greets mum with great enthusiasm when she arrives, letting mum know what is going on and giving her gentle encouragement. She cares about what she is doing and the needs of my mum.

The service I receive is perfect, the Care Pros are great and attentive to my needs, they are beautiful. The Care Pros look very well after me. PW likes the variety of Care Pros who visit him as they bring different things to the table and he can have various conversation with them. He sees our visits as a social visit.

I have been with MS now for exactly 1 week and can recount the drastic change taken place in her health and life in general. I met her all drowsy and sleepy, and staying the night on her recliner. But today, it gives me joy to share with you that for the last 2 days, MS has been staying the night in bed, walking round the house with me, going out to the park. Today for the first time in months, I took MS upstairs for a proper shower and hair shampoo with foot spa. Today, she walked to her piano and played it for over 10mins feeling all joyful. That is why it gives me joy to have worked with Homes Instead for ” To us, it’s personal.”

It’s been a warm experience working with Home Instead Ruislip. A round of applause to all the amazing staff, first hand picked for the unconditional love and support.
The support from staff, management and supervision has been top-notch. AB outstands with regular training, phone calls and unexpected visits to make sure nothing is lacking to us at visits and will go as far as feeding us.
A big thank you to Caroline and yourself for upholding the highest standards of care, and efficient training to enhance best practice.

I have seen PW this morning, I had not been in for two days as he now has quite a few people coming and going I was amazed to find him with his carer outside counting the fishes in the pond! He looks so much better, it is almost miraculous, considering how very ill and confused he was a few days ago. He was wearing clean clothes and he told me that this morning he “stressed himself” and had a shower before visitors came. Whilst I was there he had his carer and then a very cheerful and efficient nurse from Rapid Response, to check blood pressure, blood sugar levels and take blood for tests. They seem to come in every day. His carer JC is very kind, patient and attentive, he manages to encourage PW to do a few things like doing the food order together. They get on well, and I am sure that it is beneficial for your dad to have the same person coming twice a day. It is such a relief to see the improvement both physical and mental that has taken place with the care, the company and new medication. I hope the improvement continues so that JC and PW can have some happy moments together. With all best wishes.

Just a note to tell you that we are all so pleased with the carers who are visiting me. All three are friendly and so helpful.
Especially I would like to thank SH for collecting the tablets from your office and for reassuring me when I once again. She also helped me so much dealing with my doctor’s surgery. Nothing is too much trouble.
After a month or so I think we have now settled on the right number of visits per week. If needed I know I can contact you to arrange more.

I would like to that everyone involved in helping us keep Dad at home. It was certainly a better option for him than going into residential care. All of the Care Pro’s treated him with kindness and encouraged him to eat. Dad was particularly grateful to JC who helped him in recent weeks with his personal care in the morning.
