Sahara Project (Preston) Ltd. is a voluntary organisation working predominately for the benefit of the black and minority ethnic (BME) community.

Sahara’s group for the elderly, established in February 2021, is a group for the bespoke needs of women over the age of 60. We hold weekly group sessions to address their needs and concerns for their wellbeing and have organised structured programmes tailored to what our women want. The group for the elderly runs every Tuesday at Sahara from 1pm – 3pm.
