Six Nations Rugby comes to Home Instead’s Penarth Memory Café

In March, to celebrate the Six Nations championship, Rise facilitated a wonderful Rugby session.

Our teams were The Dragons and The Flamingoes, and The Dragons won – no wooden spoons were given out!

Our professional guests were Trevor from Centurion Financial Planning, Kelichi from Age Cymru, Dot from Butterfly Conservation Wales –  Wales Office | Butterfly Conservation (butterfly-conservation.org)  and our new volunteer Louise.

There were some amazing tries, and great team strategies played.

We were kept well hydrated and fed throughout with refreshments served by our existing volunteer Kate.

To find out more about joining us at our Memory Cafe, ring 02920 569483 or email Chrissy – [email protected]
