Remembrance Day At Penarth Memory Cafe
In November we enjoyed a Remembrance Day themed Rise session.
We played football to mark the game played on Christmas Day and then Rugby and Hockey to link in with the Commonwealth.
Our quiz questions included those about the significance of the Poppy being worn.
Our volunteers Louise and Kate made the session special by keeping us going with refreshments and joining in with all our games.
Amanda – Clinical Nurse Specialist from The Memory Team – joined us as our Professional Guest and she too enjoyed playing some football with us.
