Netball Skills

At our June session in our Penarth Memory Café, we went back to our school days and enjoyed playing some modified Netball. Dan from Rise facilitated a great game which started with a series of ball skill enhancing games.

These were interspersed with a selection of various quiz games to add to the teams’ points. Once our skills were renewed, we played a match with involved passing the ball and shooting into goals. Our two teams were “The Grumps” and “Sunshine” and “The Grumps” won by just one point! We all got to hold the Rise trophy, as the score was so close!

Tea, coffees and biscuits were available throughout and we had lots of time to catch up and chat too. Lara Ward from Motion Control was our guest and we look forward to enjoying a taster session with her soon.
