Love And Fun In Penarth
In February, we enjoyed a Valentine’s celebration at our Memory Café in Penarth. Our group and professional guests joined in with the quiz and there were plenty of refreshments to keep us energised.
Our winners were led by our guest Helen Payton from The Alzheimer’s society – Dementia Connect Cardiff and The Vale | Alzheimer’s Society (alzheimers.org.uk) and our runners up were led by Tom Geere from the VOG council who oversees the active adult scheme.
Our last professional guest was Lena Mears from Solace in Whitchurch Solace – Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (nhs.wales) and they support any unpaid carers who have family or friends with a dementia diagnosis.
