Home Instead Memory Cafes & The Christmas Tree Festival

They were wonderful events celebrating community, memory, and Christmas Trees!

Our Home Instead Memory Cafés were proud participants in both the South Molton Church Tree Festival and the Barnstaple Parish Church Christmas Tree Festival, where we won the Best Tree award!

Our tree had robins and angels which were made on the craft table at our memory cafe. The other stunningly beautiful  decorations were made by our wonderful volunteers.

The Barnstaple Parish Church generously opened its doors to the public for four days, providing an excellent opportunity for everyone to come and admire our award-winning creation amongst all the other entries.

It was truly enchanting to stroll through the church, soaking in all the magical ambience of Christmas and appreciating the creative designs and festive ornaments that adorned each and every Christmas tree. The array of beautiful trees really was a sight to behold.

Our South Molton Tree was just as beautiful too! But there was some strong competition!

The Memory Café is an initiative designed to support individuals dealing with memory problems, and it was clear to see that a true labour of love, went into the Christmas tree and stands as a symbol of inclusivity and warmth.

This beautifully decorated tree isn’t just for show; it represents a safe space for everyone, especially those facing memory-related challenges.
