Why Personal Care may be right for you

Personal Care at home offers many benefits for our clients and their families, while maintaining their dignity and respect. During consultation, we create a tailored care plan that maintains preferred routines and lifestyle and enables people to remain living at home while receiving the care that they need. As care needs change over time, our Care Professionals are trained to notice when care might need to adapt to include other personal care tasks. Giving you peace of mind that your loved one is being fully cared for by a trained professional, and helping families take a rest from caring.

What we do to care for your loved ones

We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Keeping the home environment clean, safe, and nourishing with home-cooked meals.
  • Personal care

Assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, always respecting the dignity of your loved one.

  • Health appointment management

We support you to attend those important health appointments.
  • Community engagement

We enable you to continue to do the things you enjoy, be it a visit to the garden centre or your local art group.
  • Transportation

Assistance getting you from A to B, whether it be to go visit a friend or help with your shopping.

Our Care Professional has transformed my mum’s life and she will often go that extra mile and what I consider to be above and beyond her role title and has shown great compassion for my parents. I have complete confidence in her ability and I would not hesitate to recommend both her and Home Instead as a provider of care.

We would like to thank Home Instead for helping us to support our mother. This support is ensuring that she can remain in her own home where she wants to be. The professional carers are patient, kind and thoughtful. The admin team are excellent – nothing is too much trouble, even when I get dates mixed up. Everything is done with a smile. Please pass on our sincere thanks to all the team members involved in caring for Mum. Gold stars all round!

We have been using Home Instead for several years. The care has been excellent with very high standards. Alongside caring for my dad, they provided companionship. A big plus is that they have low turnover of staff so my dad sees familiar faces which is important. Communication is excellent and frequent.
