Well-Being Hubs in Newcastle

Autumn is well and truly with us, which means the days are shorter and the weather is turning colder and wetter. And during this time, the cost-of-living crisis is also affecting many of us in lots of different ways. The health, wellbeing, and happiness of our communities is being impacted, and so Newcastle City Council have set up Wellbeing Hubs. These are designed to support you, and offer a warm and welcoming place for coming together. Hubs are set up across Newcastle in community centres, libraries, places of worship, and charities.

The network of wellbeing hubs can provide:

  • A safe space
  • A charging point for digital devices
  • Free hot/cold drinks
  • Signposting for advice and support with Cost of Living challenges

To find your local Wellbeing Hub and the opening hours, visit this link: Directory – Public Health (newcastle.gov.uk)

Libraries are also safe, community spaces, and you can find these here: Libraries in Newcastle | Newcastle City Council
