The People’s Theatre is the leading non-professional theatre company in the North of England and one of the largest and oldest established in the country!
Founded in 1911, with every show being produced entirely by their members, it is a genuine community that hosts amazing shows available to book and watch.
There are many shows being hosted, and you can take a look at their full events page HERE. However a few notable events we wanted to show you are:
- Coffee Mornings, resuming on 8th March 11am-1pm, Free, just turn up!
- Dads Army. 23-27th April. A nostalgic evening of laughs, with the beloved BBC sitcom being adapted for the stage. Dad’s Army | People’s Theatre (peoplestheatre.co.uk)
