Events at Newcastle Cathedral

Newcastle Cathedral has a vibrant programme of concerts, organ recitals, exhibitions and activities throughout the year that you can attend. Here are the upcoming events for January and February:

Organ Recital

• Mondays at 1.05pm – 1.45pm
• Join the Cathedral for beautiful music on the magnificent Lewis/Harrison/Nicholson organ. Recitals are by talented musicians, both local and from churches and cathedrals further afield
• Free to attend or a donation

 

Various Concerts by Candlelight

• The Music of James Bond – 18th January 7.30pm
• The Music of Adele – 19th January 7.30pm
• Elvis – 20th January 7.30pm

Speak their Name, the North East Suicide Memorial Quilt

• 5th February – 27th March
• The ‘Speak Their Name’ North East Suicide Memorial Quilt will be displayed at Newcastle Cathedral during this time.
• Extra details provided by the project co-leader, Suzanne Howes, is available on selected dates.
