Be A Santa 2023

We are kicking off another year of our Be A Santa campaign, where we facilitate collecting gifts and giving them to the elderly in our community!

Many older people in our community may be lonely or on their own this Christmas Time, and we know that giving a small gift that make a huge difference to their day and put a smile on their faces!

This year we are visiting Gosforth Central Middle School and West Jesmond Primary School to discuss the importance of thinking of the elderly over Christmas, and how a small gift can really lift their spirits. The photos from last year prove the success of this campaign, where we found such joy in our visits. The older people really enjoyed reading the messages the children wrote on their gift tags and enjoyed the connection to the child/school who has thought about them at this time.

The gifts we collect this year will be going to charities such as Independent Age, British Red Cross, Search Newcastle and Chain Reaction North.

We cant wait to have another fantastic year with our gifting campaign!
