Valentine’s Day is celebrated not only here in the UK but also in many countries around the world, including Argentina, Canada, France, South Korea and the United States. It’s a special day of the year to send your loved one a card, a bunch of flowers, a homemade gift or simply spend some time with them.
Traditionally, on Valentine’s Day you show your love for another person by sending cards, gifts and messages of love. According to Hallmark, a huge 145 million Valentine’s cards are exchanged every February 14th! Around 25% of pet owners even give Valentine’s Day gifts to their pets, however teachers get more Valentine’s than anyone else! Last year the red heart emoji was one of the most used.
