My mother had reached the stage at which she needs care / support in the home. I contacted Home Instead because they had looked after my father 6 years ago and that experience had been positive. The office-based personnel were responsive and efficient. Two carers came to meet my mother initially, one of whom had also cared for my father, and this really helped her to feel less apprehensive about ‘new people’ coming into the home.
The schedule that we requested was established and three named carers identified. I am also able to access Mother’s record on their App which enables me to ensure that Mother knows who is coming on a day by day basis.
After 3 weeks, we are very happy with the care provided. Each carer brings their own personality to the role and adds companionship to the tasks that they carry out. Each is friendly and helpful in addition to demonstrating competency and professionalism.

We have been very impressed with the service provided. We needed support for my father in a short space of time and a team has been provided are so helpful, kind and professional. The 3 carers who visit across the course of a week have been consistently excellent. We can’t fault the care that is being provided. It has provided such peace of mind to know that Dad is being so well cared for.
Vicky R (Daughter of Client) ~ May 2026

We cannot thank the team enough for the incredible care, compassion, and support they have shown my nan. From day one, the carers have been nothing short of exceptional – always kind, attentive, patient, and genuinely invested in her wellbeing. They treat her with such dignity, warmth, and respect, and it’s clear they truly care about the people they look after. The love and care they have given her is second to none, and as a family, that means everything to us. Knowing she is in such safe and caring hands gives us huge peace of mind. I also want to recognise the amazing office team, who have been an enormous support to us as a family. They are always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and help with anything we need. Their communication, understanding, and willingness to go above and beyond has made such a difficult journey so much easier. We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a dedicated and compassionate team. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone look.

- Who can benefit from arthritis and mobility care?
If you have ever faced concerns with your mobility, arthritis and mobility care is something you could benefit from. Any reduction in mobility can have a large impact on your daily life, reducing the ability to complete normal daily tasks as easily as you may have done before.
- Why is home care for arthritis and mobility a good choice?
When faced with needing long term support and care for arthritis or a condition that effects their mobility, most people prefer the comfort of their own home, compared to the prospect of a care or nursing home. Having mobility care at home allows you to live your life as you usually would while also benefiting from the support our Care Professionals can provide.
- How long will I need arthritis care for?
Despite treatment from medical professionals, arthritis can progress, causing more difficulty in carrying out day to day tasks. Our Care Professionals can work with you and your clinical team to ensure you receive arthritis care as and when it is required.
- What if my needs change regarding mobility issues?
Home Instead understands that any mobility care you need can change over time. Whether your condition has worsened or been treated successfully we will work closely with you and your clinical team to ensure we provide you with the most effective support.
