Double Finalists - And a Win to Celebrate!

We are incredibly proud to share that Home Instead Milton Keynes was recognised as finalist in two categories at the SME Business Awards MK & Buckinghamshire Awards 2026:
* Young Business Person of the Year
* Positive Impact Award
We’re delighted to celebrate that Zahra Kassim MBA has been named the winner of Young Business Person of the Year, while we were also honored to remain finalists in the Positive Impact Award.
Zahra and our team at Home Instead Milton Keynes have been a driving force behind both nominations. Over the past year, Zahra has worked tirelessly to build and strengthen relationships, relaunch key projects, and introduce a number of new initiatives, events, and exciting partnerships.
These projects have been delivered in collaboration with a wide range of respected partners including Age UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Milton Keynes City Council, Buckinghamshire Council, Shenley Brook End & Tattenhoe Parish Council, Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council, Parkinson’s UK, MacIntyre, Dementia UK, Admiral Nurses, AL’s PALS, Elizabeth Gardens, Cornish Bakery, The Body Shop, local schools and many more. Together, these partnerships have supported business development, client growth, marketing, training opportunities, and the overall success of our organisation.
What makes Zahra stand out is the way she combines her professional industry experience, academic knowledge, and personal experience with genuine passion and purpose. Her commitment to creating meaningful impact, alongside delivering real results, makes her a true asset to our team.
With all of this momentum, Zahra also has some exciting new projects in the pipeline – and we can’t wait to see what she launches next.
This recognition reflects not only Zahra’s individual achievement, but also the positive impact we continue to strive for as a team.
We’re incredibly proud – and excited to see Zahra go on to represent the region at the national finals this November.
