Trusted, Personalised Home Care in Nottingham

All of our visits last at least an hour, giving our Care Professionals time to provide the support someone needs without rushing the companionship that sits alongside it. A visit might include preparing lunch, helping with medication or doing a few things around the home, with plenty of time left for conversation, a crossword, following the football or simply enjoying some company. Over time, those regular visits allow a genuine familiarity to develop. Our Care Professionals get to know the person, their interests, routines and the things they enjoy, which can be especially valuable for someone who spends a lot of time on their own. Many of our Care Professionals drive, so they can accompany clients into town, for a walk around Wollaton Park, to see a friend or to get to an appointment. We are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission, and every Care Professional is employed and trained by us, with additional training in areas including dementia and Parkinson’s.

Our Care Starts With Connection

Continuity is something we place a great deal of importance on, which is why we endeavour to keep each client with the same Care Professional or small team wherever possible. Seeing the same people regularly can make visits feel more comfortable and allows our Care Professionals to get to know the person well, including their routines, preferences and how they like to be supported. Seeing someone regularly also gives our Care Professionals a clearer sense of what is usual for them from one visit to the next. Changes in appetite, mood or mobility may be easier to notice, allowing them to raise anything of concern with the family and our local office so the care can be reviewed if needed.

Our Nottingham Team is With You Through Every Step

When choosing a care agency in Nottingham, it helps to know there is a local team closely involved in the care. Our office is run by people who know the area well and oversee the day-to-day support, from organising visits and arranging cover to speaking with families when something changes or a question comes up. Because our team knows Nottingham and the local services well, they can work alongside GP surgeries, district nurses and other professionals where needed, as well as guide families towards additional support. With the same local office overseeing the care, families have familiar people to speak to and do not have to take on the day-to-day organisation themselves.
