For example, our Care Professional Becky regularly takes her client Deidre on the number 12 bus from Old Steine Gardens to the Marina. They travel along Marine Parade, enjoying coastal views from the top deck, before doing Deidre’s shopping and enjoying a cup of coffee in Laughing Dog Café at Brighton Marina. On the bus ride, Deidre reminisces about her favourite memories of Brighton Pier, recalling her childhood excitement at riding the helter-skelter. These outings not only nurture Deidre’s independence but also boost her overall wellbeing.
