Join us weekly at The Dorset Pub in Lewes!
Now under sponsorship from Home Instead Charities, we are grateful and delighted to launch the new Companionship Café.
We have been fortunate to have had some wonderful sessions in the past. With new funding and equipment, we will continue to provide the community with a safe space for learning and socialising.
Using funds provided by The Access Foundation, Home Instead Charities has been able to purchase devices such as laptops and iPads for older people to use at our companionship cafes so they can learn simple digital skills and become more tech savvy.
The Home Instead Charities Cafe in Lewes is supported by friendly volunteers from Home Instead Lewes District and Uckfield.
Loneliness can have serious effects on a person’s health and Home Instead aims to prevent social isolation by also providing companionship care at home.
