Home care for cancer patients offers dignity, comfort, and peace of mind. Being at home means better rest, nourishing meals, reduced exposure to infections, and less disruption for the family. Our Ivybridge team provides flexible support, whether that’s hourly visits, longer hours, waking night care or live-in care, adapting as needs change. We work closely with clinical teams to make sure care is consistent, safe, and tailored. For families, choosing cancer care at home means confidence that your loved one is supported with compassion while staying in the place they love most.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of a unique mix of services to meet your needs.

Every person’s cancer journey is unique, which is why our cancer care at home in Ivybridge, Plympton, Plymstock and the South Hams is always personalised. Support might include help with medication, preparing meals, assistance with personal care, or simply being there to listen during difficult moments. One client, for example, found comfort in daily visits where her Care Professional helped prepare breakfast, encouraged light exercise, and kept her company during treatment days. These small routines bring stability, comfort and reassurance, helping families know their loved one is cared for with sensitivity and respect.
