Local at-home care company, Home Instead Senior Care, who provide care to older people in their own homes across Ipswich, Felixstowe and Woodbridge celebrated Christmas early with a pamper session for all of its caregivers, most of whom will be working throughout the festive period.
Organised by owner of Home Instead Chris Lye, the pamper package saw local therapist Kayleigh Sheldrake from Kayleigh’s Mobile Beauty Therapy in Felixstowe, visit the team at their office on Ransomes Europark, for the ultimate ladies’ afternoon.
Kayleigh said, “It was a pleasure to pamper the caregivers, they were all so lovely. I think the work they do out in our community is so fantastic, they really make a difference to older people’s lives and it was a pleasure to turn the tables and give them a bit of ‘TLC’, in the run up to Christmas.”
Chris added, “My caregivers are inspiring individuals who never stop caring, going above and beyond to provide care and support to their clients 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Christmas came early this year, as many of them will be joining the other workforces such as the police, fire brigade and ambulance services who work through the Christmas period, to make sure their clients are well looked after. The team do a sterling job and I thought it was about time someone looked after them for a change!”
The utterly blissful treatments included manicures, facials and massages. The ladies also indulged themselves with mulled wine and mince pies and were presented with a Christmas gift, which was the perfect end to the day.
