We recently celebrated the coronation of King Charles III with a party alongside over 30 of our clients and Care Professionals.
Our clients and Care Professionals were treated to entertainment from the fabulous Lancashire Belle. Jane (Lancashire Belle) performed an array of songs from the 1920’s, through to the 1960’s. We all enjoyed reminiscing of these times, and two of our clients even shared stories from their time at Queen Elizabeth II Coronation.
It wouldn’t be a Royal Celebration without afternoon tea! Everyone enjoyed a selection of sandwiches, cakes and more.
We hope that our clients & Care Professionals enjoyed their afternoon celebrating, and that we’ll see everyone get together again at another client event.
At Home Instead, we offer our clients a dedicated events schedule, so that we can get together on a monthly basis and to prevent social isolation.
It’s not too hard to see how older people may become more isolated later in life. As people grow older, they will unfortunately begin to lose more of their friends and family, whilst also living with declining health. This is why extra support such as companionship care is so beneficial in maintaining wellbeing.
Home Instead specialises in offering flexible and engaging companionship led care, which could mean a fresh start for you to re-kindle hobbies, activities and friendships.
Home Instead Ilkley, Otley & Skipton prevent social isolation by offering a bespoke events programme. The Home Instead team arrange outings for all clients such as:
Home Instead love hosting events for clients in the community – it’s great to see so many people get together on a regular basis.
