Today, we’d like to tell you a little more about the individuals who are at the heart of our operations, from our Care Professionals who visit clients, to all of our office staff including our Field Care Supervisors.

Celebrating a New Team Member, Penny

Today we’re particularly shining a spotlight and celebrating a newer addition to our Home Instead Ilkeston office, our Field Care Supervisor, Penny! 

Penny has quickly become an indispensable part of our team, with her zest for life and her constant willingness to go the extra mile. Penny is warm and welcoming and has a positivity that is infectious. Her cheerful manner and uplifting attitude bring a unique energy to the work that gives everyone she meets a boost. She is consistently committed to providing the best support possible for our clients and colleagues alike.

Having worked in Health and Social Care and Public Health for over 25 years, Penny brings a wealth of experience to her role at Home Instead. We’re grateful for her relentless professionalism. Her knowledge in the domain of home care greatly contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. 

As a Field Care Supervisor, Penny works closely with clients to make a positive difference in their lives. Her role includes assessing clients’ needs, developing care plans, supervising and supporting visiting care professional staff, and maintaining accurate records. Outside of work, Penny stays busy with her three children, two grandsons, and not forgetting, her basset hound.

From our exceptional Care Professionals visiting our clients in their own homes, our Care Manager ensuring seamless operations, to our schedulers who skillfully organise our visits to meet every client’s care plan and changing needs, and our recruitment team who help us continue to find the best candidates and to expand our team of caring professionals.

Every individual in our team brings their own unique set of skills, and all are vital cogs in our well-oiled machine, working in unison to ensure we provide a level of service that is second to none. The office team, often behind the scenes, plays a crucial role in making sure everything runs smoothly. From handling inquiries and coordinating schedules to supporting our field staff and managing administrative tasks, their efforts are integral to our success.
