Join Home Instead Hinckley, Nuneaton & Burbage for flexible hours, paid training, and real support. Build a career in care that works around your life.
At Home Instead Hinckley, Nuneaton & Burbage, we believe care work should feel just as rewarding for you as it is for the people you support. Whether you’re starting your career, returning to work, or just ready for something more meaningful, we’ve got space on our team for someone like you.
We’re not about rushed visits or ticking boxes. We take time to care properly, and we treat our team with the same respect. Because when you feel supported, valued, and proud of what you do – it shows.
We know care can be hard work, but it shouldn’t feel like you’re doing it alone. That’s why we make sure you have the training, time, and encouragement to do the job well, and enjoy it too.
– Full training and hands-on support
You don’t need to have care experience to join us. We provide a full induction, shadowing with experienced team members, mentoring, and regular refreshers. You’ll also have the chance to complete City & Guilds Assured Training and work towards your NVQ level qualification if you’d like to progress further.
– Visits that aren’t rushed
Our care calls are at least one hour, and we use block scheduling to keep travel time to a minimum. That gives you time to do your job properly and get to know the people you’re supporting. (See A Day in the Life of a Care Professional)
– We pay for your time
You’ll be paid for travel and waiting time between visits, and mileage is covered too, so you’re never out of pocket just getting to work.
– Welfare that’s more than a phone call
You’ll get regular check-ins, wellbeing support, and supervision with a real focus on how you’re doing, not just ticking off forms.
– Support you can count on
Introductions before new visits, team support visits in the field, and Care Professional meetings all help you stay connected and confident in your role.
We have a variety of roles available, whether you want part-time hours or a long-term career path:
– Care Professional: supporting older adults with personal care, companionship, and home help
– Mentor or Trainer: helping new recruits find their feet once you’ve gained experience
– Care Coordinator or Scheduler: making sure care runs smoothly and efficiently
– Recruitment or Admin roles: supporting behind the scenes at our office
– Leadership roles: for those ready to step into care management or team development
Some people join us thinking it’ll just be a job and end up building a career they never expected.
“I used to work in retail and hospitality. Care was totally new to me, but the support I’ve had here has been brilliant.”
“The flexible hours and proper pay between visits make it actually work around my family life.”
“It’s the first job where I feel like I’m doing something that matters. And I’ve made real friendships with clients and other team members.”
If you’re looking for a job that gives you purpose, flexibility, and a place where your time and effort are appreciated, we’d love to hear from you.
