Senior Care Company Support SOP

Home Instead invited key players from The Alzheimer's Society, Cardale Financial Planning, Memory Lane cafe in Knaresborough, Community Safety HBCC to join them at the Hotel Du Vin on Thursday 20th June in support of SOP (Supporting Older People) Annual Event.

Everyone that attended had gone to a lot of trouble to dress for the occasion and there were some spectacular hats, facinators and outfits.

Ladies Day at Ascot was streamed into the event room and sweep stakes were taken along with amazing raffle prizes up for grabs.  We all hope that due to all the hard work that Kate Rogata (Director of SOP) and her Team Julia Lightfoot and Lorna Daniel that the monies raised reflected this.  People had been very generous in offering wonderful raffle prizes.

Sheena Van Parys (Co Owner of Home Instead) and Lisa Stirk (Community Co-Ordinator) Invited key community players and experts in their field to join them as guests to support an amazing cause and come together to network with other industry players.

Home Instead were delighted when Norman Smales (Memory Lane Cafe, Knaresborough) was presented with the award for best dapper dressed male.  He thoroughly deserved it and more important, it was amazing to see Norman being recognised and treated after all the voluntary work he does for Harrogate, Knaresborough in support of people living with Dementia.

Sheena and Lisa both look forward to a continued working relationship with SOP and being apart of the amazing work they do in Supporting Older People.

Lisa will continue to be on their Fundraising Committee and give the time that Home Instead support her in giving back to the Community.

Well done Team SOP and thank you to all our guests....A Great afternoon was had by all.
