Live Well Your Way Launched by Top Care Company

Home Instead are delighted to launch their first ever edition of the Live Well Your Way Publication.
During these challenging and uncertain times, Home Instead have identified the importance of engaging people who are isolated and potentially living on their own to feel a part and supported by their local communities and they have some where to turn to, if help is needed.

Lisa Stirk, Community Development Manager went about producing the new Live Well Your Way Publication to help in overcoming some of these barriers that our older members of the community faced.

Featured in the 16 Page publication are Tips & Advice on staying Well & Cool during the hot weather, Falls Prevention along with practical advice on making your home a trip free zone as well as some fun activities to enjoy such as word searches, geography challenge and a picture quiz.

We plan to have four editions throughout a 12 month period and will be including different 'In The Spotlight' features where we will interview some of the amazing people and organisations that are out there supporting different groups of people facing different challenges.  In Edition 1 we interview Jill Quinn, CEO & Founder of Dementia Forward.

Our intention is also to share some practical help and advice on different subjects such as Staying Nourished, living with Dementia and Parkinson's along with including some of the amazing community projects that are happening within Harrogate, Ripon & Thirsk.

You will also find some useful resources in North Yorkshire along with some adverts our readers may find useful for signposting, from equipment suppliers, BMI Duchy, Financial planning for later years to how Care & technology are coming together within the Home Care Service we offer at Home Instead.

We hope there is something for everyone and you enjoy the read. Please get in touch on 01423 774490 if you would like one sending out to you or a loved one or visit to find out more about the services we offer here at Home Instead.
