Home Instead For Christmas

Thirsk based home care company Home Instead recently joined local businesses, charities and voluntary groups to exhibit a seasonal display or tree at the annual Christmas exhibition held at St Mary’s Church in Thirsk. This year the theme was   ‘Christmas Wonderland’ and Home Instead interpreted this in their table top display entitled ’Home Instead for Christmas.’ Sheena Van Parys from Home Instead added; “we wanted to recreate a cosy front room at Christmas time with the decorated Christmas tree in the corner and the fire warming the room, being at home at this time of year with family is for many people their own personal Christmas wonderland.”

As well as providing a beautiful venue for the exhibition, St Mary’s Church also helped raise awareness and important funds for local charity Thirsk Clock with a ‘Bring and Buy’ stall alongside the exhibition. The exhibition is a great opportunity for local businesses, charities and volunteer groups to get together and get involved with the local community. Sheena Van Parys added;” This is our third year exhibiting and we enjoy it every year because it has a real community spirit about it and is great fun to organise”.
