ELF DAY at Home Instead Senior Care
Home Instead have celebrated the annual 'Elf Day' to raise awareness for the Alzheimer's Society.
· Home Instead celebrated 'Elf Day' at their headquarters near Ripley.
· Staff dressed as elves and surprised a Home Instead CAREGiver as part of the event.
· It's all part of a national campaign to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Society.
The team at Ho-Ho-Home Instead dressed up for their annual Elf Day, which aims to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Society. The event took place at the Home Instead HQ near Ripley and saw the team dress as elves and fund-raise in an attempt to beat last year's total of £172.
This was the second year of entering into Elf Day and what's so amazing is that all the staff got into the fun of it.
It's also highlighting such an amazing cause.
If that wasn't enough, the Home Instead team also surprised one of their CAREGivers as she left a client's home in Knaresborough. Jeanette had just finished caring for a client when the elves arrived outside to surprise her with some Christmas goodies:
Community Co-ordinator at Home Instead Lisa Stirk said: "All of our CAREGivers do such amazing work but Jeannette stands out. She always goes over and above the call of duty."
