Home Instead Supports Charity Coffee Morning

Sheena Van Parys, Carol Bray and Lisa Stirk from Home Instead Harrogate, Ripon and Thirsk were delighted to volunteer at Gracious Street Methodist Church Coffee Morning on Saturday 6th April.

It was a wonderful morning and supported so well by the community of Knaresborough.  We served coffee's, teas and a fantastic selection of cakes for everyone to enjoy.

Lisa Stirk, Community Co-Ordinator at Home Instead attended the Memory Lane Cafe yesterday where they announced that £300 had been raised in just 2 hours.

It was a great time for staff at Home Instead to meet friends of the Memory Lane Cafe where Lisa volunteers every other week and has done since Christmas this year.

We hope to be a part of future fundraising events at Gracious Street as it is a real community hub to Knaresborough and has an amazing buzz to it.

Well done to all the other volunteers that helped on the day and to the visitors that came and enjoyed our offerings.

Home Instead continue to support the amazing work that the Memory Lane Cafe do and the activities they offer their friends.
