Harrogate Care Company Hop To It For Easter
The team at Home Instead have been busy this week, active in the community, delivering Easter treats to their Caregivers and Clients before the Easter Weekend.
Home Instead who support people living in their own homes in and around the towns of Harrogate, Ripon and Thirsk are passionate about providing relationship led care to those in the community who need some assistance with everyday living.
Despite the challenges of the past months with the coronavirus pandemic, Home Instead have continued to provide care and support to their clients and wanted to provide some Spring cheer this week by hand delivering individual bunches of daffodils to each and every one of their clients and chocolate eggs for their caregiving team.
As front-line staff, the Home Instead team have worked hard with passion and dedication to look after their clients providing care, support and companionship in the home, even more so during lockdown when families could not come together, and local community groups and activities were shut. The Home Instead caregiving team helped to alleviate loneliness and isolation through their home visits that are of one hour or more and unrushed and companionship led.
Sheena Van Parys Co-owner of Home Instead stated, “Our caregivers are very special people and greatly appreciated for the fantastic work they do. They come from varying backgrounds which is great for matching and relationship building with our clients but the attributes they all have in common are compassion, empathy, professionalism and a real desire to make a difference to the lives of others through care that is not rushed or time constrained. We provide all the necessary training in-house, so whether you are 19 or 99, if you are a caring person and looking for a job that is very satisfying and highly rewarding, then please get in touch with us to find out how you can make a difference.”
According to a North Yorkshire County Council source:
