Local Care Company Spreads Christmas Cheer

Here at Home Instead Harrogate, Ripon & Thirsk we know the importance more than ever, in light of the current pandemic,  to show our clients how much we appreciate them by wanting to share a little festive cheer in giving them a personal gift to enjoy.

Our clients regular CAREGivers were delighted to hand deliver their gift of mince pies and stolen pieces during their calls in December.  Our CAREGivers feedback has been amazing and have shared with us that they have enjoyed a few cups of tea watching their client's eyes light up when enjoying their little festive treats while having a gorgeous chat about how Christmas was for them as a child growing up.

Every year we give our clients a small gift at Christmas but with all of the uncertainty that COVID has brought to our clients and their families over the last 10 months, we felt it even more important to make them feel special and cared for.

We continued to deliver care over the Christmas period as not all of our clients are fortunate to have relatives who live locally and able to share these special times together.  Many of them had made plans to see their nearest and dearest and as the day drew closer and the announcement of changes from the government about reducing the initial lifting of families coming together over the festive season, this saw many of our clients plans change and additional visits were required to be put in place.

All of our amazing CAREGivers worked over the Christmas period to ensure that their clients saw a friendly and familiar face to wish them a 'Merry Christmas' and ensured they received the care they need and deserve to remain safe and well within their own homes.  We have shared many wonderful pictures between the team here at Home Instead which show our clients and CAREGivers having an amazing time on Christmas Day and throughout the season.

Thank you to all our wonderful and thoughtful CAREGivers who gave up time which would normally be spent with their own family to care for their clients. Your commitment to your job has not gone unnoticed and our clients families have sent some beautiful messages of thanks to you all.
