Home Instead who provide homecare in Harrogate can help alleviate loneliness and isolation by matching Care Professionals and Clients  together to ensure that there is a great relationship.  According to Age UK, more than 2 million people in England over the age of 75 live alone, and more than a million older people say they go over a month without speaking to a friend, neighbour or family member. People can become socially isolated for a variety of reasons, such as getting older or weaker, no longer being the hub of their family, leaving the workplace, the deaths of spouses and friends, or through disability or illness. Here at Home Instead we can help to alleviate loneliness and isolation through our companionship  visits of no less than one hour in length.

As Spring springs into the air off we go to see all creatures great and small , flowers and meet people along the way with fun and laughter and lots of chats 

Smiling happy faces from small children to adults all enjoying the fun of spring and seeing new life all around

Even an ice cream was enjoyed to end the journey
