Harrogate organisation Home Instead have started off the Christmas season by donating £200 to local charity SOP (Supporting Older People)
Local Harrogate organisation, Home Instead have started the Christmas season by donating £200 to local charity SOP (Supporting Older People) towards their Christmas presents for the community that they look after and support. SOP was founded in 1982 to help alleviate loneliness and isolation often experienced by older people living on their own, they do this by organising regular social activities , outings and events .
Sheena Van Parys, co-owner of Home Instead states; ‘ it is great to be supporting this charity again who do such a valuable job in the local community, helping to alleviate isolation and loneliness.’
