Celebrating Our First Year in Business 2025

Donation to Altnagelvin A&E

This year marks a very special milestone for us at Home Instead Foyle & Erne – our first anniversary in business!

From the very beginning, our mission has been to provide compassionate, person-centred care for older adults and those with disabilities across Derry/Londonderry, and surrounding areas.

As we celebrate this first year, we wanted to give something back to the wider community in a meaningful way. That’s why we’ve donated emergency overnight bags to Altnagelvin Hospital’s Accident & Emergency Department. Each bag is filled with essential items and will be available to patients who find themselves facing an unexpected hospital stay over the Christmas period. Our hope is that these bags will bring comfort and dignity at a time that can often feel stressful and uncertain.

Since opening last year, Home Instead Foyle & Erne has grown steadily, offering services such as personal care, companionship, dementia support, and respite for families. We are proud that our team enables clients to remain independent in their own homes while receiving the highest quality of care.

We are delighted to celebrate our first anniversary by supporting Altnagelvin Hospital. Caring with compassion is at the heart of everything we do, and this donation is one way of extending that care beyond the home and into the wider community.

Looking ahead to 2026, we remain committed to raising standards in home care, strengthening local ties, and supporting initiatives that make a real difference in the North West.
