The museum is also home to the ‘Time Tunnel’ exhibit, which takes visitors on a journey through the town’s history. It’s a perfect opportunity to reminisce about the past and learn something new. There are regular exhibitions, a cafe and an outdoor area, as well as a Play Gallery if you have under 5s in your group and free wifi for teenagers! The ground floor is fully accessible and the parking around the building is free for Blue Badge holders.

Little Woodham Living History Village

Little Woodham, Living History Village, is a unique attraction in Little Woodham, Gosport and gives visitors a unique glimpse into what life was like in the 17th century. Opening from April, you can explore the village, meet the villagers, and learn about the trades and crafts of the time. You can even participate in some of the activities, like making butter or baking bread. A stimulating day out for all ages. There is access for wheelchair users, although there is some uneven ground.

The Historic Dockyard

The Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth is only a short ferry ride from Gosport and a must-visit attraction for any history buff. Particularly interesting for grandparents with an interest in naval history, you can explore the exhibits, including the Mary Rose Museum, the HMS Victory, and the HMS Warrior.
