Our 10 out of 10 homecare.co.uk rated companionship care services involve our dedicated Care Professionals visiting you at home and having a cup of tea and a chat, taking you out and about, helping you around the house or doing whatever you fancy. I have had several very nice, friendly carers over seven months. We’ve had fun, laughter and deep and meaningful talks as well as very useful jobs done quickly and efficiently by these kind ladies. Many thanks indeed for their careful help but respect for the independence still trying to be maintained by an old lady of 96! Happy days ahead.

Client, Care Professional and their family walking through a sunny field

Absolutely fantastic company caring for my mother who has dementia. So caring and thorough on following up any concerns. They go to great lengths to really get to know the person they care for – their likes, dislikes, what might upset them; anything… and they are always thinking of new ways to keep them engaged and make sure they’re looked after. We cannot fault them and don’t know what we would do without them.

This is a company who cares about their Care Professionals as much as their Clients. It’s a great Company to work for with so much support from everyone: from The Directors and Management, to the office team and other Care Professionals. Nothing is too much trouble, whatever your needs might be. We are one big family.

My experience reflects completely the information I was given initially. The monthly visit in the section of companionship has been to my total satisfaction. The experience has provided me with the assurance I was seeking that, should the necessity arise, Home Instead will provide the support needed to enable me to achieve my objective of being able to remain in my home if and when health circumstances change.

On the advice of a trusted charity, I contacted Home Instead to see whether they could provide support to our Mum. The office went out of their way to create a care plan to suit. I know that the care has been much appreciated by my mother, and has removed much of the pressure on my brother… I have been delighted with every aspect of the service and would have no hesitation in recommending the Exeter & East Devon office.

Home Instead have changed my life. Just 16 weeks ago I was accepted into the ‘family’ and have not looked back. As someone with no previous experience in the care sector, but who was thinking about it for quite a while, I have been empowered by a fantastic team of amazing people. I was extremely anxious changing my career at the age of 50… no idea why! If you are thinking of joining, come on board, you won’t be disappointed.
