If you are contemplating the need for increased support for yourself or a loved one, separate homes and the funding of residential care need not be your only option…

Our popular Couples Live-In Care services are now available across the Exeter and East Devon community that we support, once again. These could provide the security that you require and the ideal scenario of keeping loved-ones close by. It’s a topic discussed in our recent article, Home Care or Care Home?*

As standard, the services includes 8-10 hours of our CQC 5 Star Outstanding level of care for the primary Client, along with support for their loved one, around the clock, in the comfort and security of their home, together.

Couples Live-In Care can be built around existing routines, making sure that the favourite television programmes aren’t missed, that the regular catch ups with children or grandchildren can go ahead, as can visits with friends and connections withing the local community. In the simplest terms, you can continue deciding when you eat and sleep – just as you always have done.

All our staff are selected based on whether we would entrust them to support our own family. It’s a simple but exceptional standard that means we can feel confident in the service that we are providing. Clients can be assured of being matched with appropriate, professionally trained Care Professionals, employed and trained by Home Instead Exeter & East Devon, who will care for your loved one as they would their own family.

As registered home care providers, Home Instead Exeter & East Devon are inspected and rated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) being the government organisation tasked with assessing the services provided by those providing care. The CQC provide evidence-based ratings, enabling those seeking support to identify true quality from the vast quantity of care options that are available across Devon.

As the only home care provider in the southwest region to be rated Outstanding in all five areas of inspection by the CQC, we are confident that our Live-In Care services will not only meet the needs of our clients, but their wishes too, by exceeding expectations.

For our Care Professionals, the rewards of Live-In Care are clear – offering the chance to build trusted, and positive relationships over time, together, as discussed in our recent article with one Live-In colleague, Lou – HERE.

Of course, all of our staff are experienced and professional, being fully licensed, insured and having passed not only our own high standards and training but also being subject to an advanced DBS check (the highest level of criminal record check carried out by the Disclosure and Barring Service).

Beyond care in their own home environment, Clients are able to benefit from our fully staffed and manned local office, which is open 7 days a week to support clients and Care Professionals at all times.

At the outset, our specialist team create a bespoke Care Plan tailored to meet the desired outcomes for each client, individually created and including the small details that mean so much to couples.
