A new kind of Community Centre for East Devon.

A centre for health and happiness: Seachange at Budleigh

Seachange is a household name in the Home Instead Exeter & East Devon office, which post pandemic, is proving to be a real asset to the community.

The centre, based in Budleigh Salterton, offers an immediate sense of vibrancy. There is often a parent and toddler group meeting in the gardens opposite the main building and the volunteer gardeners head out in force tending the beds which are stocked full of colour and interest. A warm welcome is always offered by Marc Jobson, Centre Manager, who is happy to introduce visitors to members of the team and show service users around the extensive building and grounds..

Seachange is a really impressive facility which is housed in Iovely light, bright and airy spaces. The on-site gym offers equipment that is high spec and the large windows offered fabulous far-reaching views towards Sidmouth.

There is a real sense of inclusion for all ages and from a Home Instead perspective, the idea that the onsite nursery school children are on occasion, able to socialise with the older adults who visit to take part in various activities, is a wonderful one. The centre offers a great range of low impact classes, dementia support, a gym, popular Launchpad café (the brownies are amazing!), nursery, holistic therapies, NHS services and support groups, and they are open to new ideas too!

The centre is all about inclusion and promoting health and happiness in the community and we look forward to continuing to promote the fabulous facilities at Seachange to our clients!
