Our team are creating a directory of welcoming and accessible locations in our Exeter, East and Mid Devon communities, for our 'Out Instead' project...
As a population, our habits have changed over the last couple of years, most notably with regard to a reduction in socialising. Those Clients that have now started to explore a little more, will often refer to the companionship that our Care Professionals provide as being of huge benefit and in fact, there is growing scientific research to show that increased exercise and socialisation has a positive influence on wellbeing and is therefore, to be encouraged.
To that end, our team have spent the past year creating a directory of welcoming and accessible locations in our Exeter, East and Mid Devon community, in an ongoing project that we have called ‘Out Instead’. This list features a variety of venues from museums and galleries, to gardens and coffee stops – all of which we have visited and would wholeheartedly recommend and consider to be truly ‘Client and Care Professional Friendly’. Many of these organisations have gone on to support our efforts by taking part in our Dementia Awareness workshops, creating a safer and more welcoming community for all to enjoy. Details of many of these venues can be found via the Blogs, New & Events are of our website HERE.
So, if you would like to add some care and companionship visits to your diary, supported by our carefully matched Care Professionals, enabling you or your loved one to discover the delights of Devon once again, please don’t hesitate. Contact our team on 01395 200600, email [email protected] or visit our website HERE. We would welcome your enquiry and of course, any suggestions for suitable outings.
