CAREGivers rewarded at quarterly meeting

At our quarterly get together in July a number of presentations and awards were given to our CAREGivers.

We have rewarded a number of our CAREGivers for “going the extra mile” for their clients:

Claire who was incredibly caring and sensitive in the way that she dealt with the trauma of her client’s beloved cat passing away.  The client was really touched and very grateful.

Sheena, for putting up birthday banners and balloons after she had put her client to bed so that she woke up to them in the morning.  It really made her client’s day!

Jan, Ashleigh and Dave who have all  been with Home Instead for a number of years, who all quietly get on with their work making a huge difference in  very special personal ways to all the clients who they have supported since working for us and who continually receive amazing feedback from clients and families.

So far 29 of our CAREGivers have completed the Home Instead CARE training programme for dementia.  The latest group of CAREGivers were presented with their certificates.

Robert Taylor was congratulated on completing his QCF level 2 in Health and Social Care.  He worked really hard to achieve this and the feedback from his tutor was that his work was of a very high standard and was very inciteful.  So well done to Rob.
