Ho-Ho-Home Instead: A Christmas Party to Remember

Celebrating Home Instead Epping Forest's memorable Christmas party filled with festive fun and cheer.

The Christmas spirit arrived with a bang on the 18th of December at Theydon Bois Village Hall, where our annual Christmas party transformed a chilly winter afternoon into a heartwarming celebration of community and care. Home Instead Epping Forest once again brought together our clients, their families, and our dedicated Care Professionals to celebrate the end of a wonderful year. We filled the hall with music, laughter, and festive cheer.

Debbie Watt, with her magical voice, performed seasonal classics that got us all shaking our Christmas baubles along to the tunes. Our guests enjoyed a mouth-watering assortment of drinks and nibbles, keeping spirits high and hearts warm. The Christmas quiz added a dash of competition to the day, bringing everyone together in laughter and friendly rivalry.

“We all had a great time. It was lovely to see everyone having a nice time.
The singer was amazing!”

In a touching display of community spirit, our clients were treated to handmade Christmas cards from the children at Ivy Chimneys Primary School.

As if we weren’t proud enough, Kevin, one of our beloved Care Professionals, gave an amazing guitar performance. His selection of Christmas songs went down a treat and he invited everyone to sing along. Great job Kevin!

The cutest pet competition was won by Care Professional Ashleigh and her adorable dogs, Theodore, Sonny and Dolly . Yes, we really did have a competition and invited all the team to bring in photos of their pets and voted on the one that warmed our clients’ hearts.

No one left without a token of our appreciation. Our clients received beautifully wrapped Home Instead mugs filled with chocolates – a sweet reminder of our commitment and care. Our Care Professionals received festive bags filled with treats, just a small token of thanks for their dedication and hard work throughout the year.

This Christmas party was more than just a gathering; it was a heart-warming celebration of the close relationships that define our Home Instead community. It was a day to remember, filled with the warmth, kindness and good fun we’re known for.

“Carers and clients all seemed to be having such a great time!!! I actually think it was the best one so far!!!! Fab afternoon!!”

At Home Instead Epping Forest, we believe in more than just providing care. This time of year reminds us of the importance of not just caring but creating moments of pure joy in the lives of our clients. And it sounds like our Christmas party did exactly that!
