The Memory Lunch Club

Our cherished Memory Lunch Club, held bi-weekly, is a heartwarming hub of community, laughter, and joy in Enfield.

At Home Instead Enfield, we are committed to enhancing the lives of our clients, not just by providing excellent care but also by creating a sense of community and companionship. One of the ways we achieve this is through our much-loved initiative, the Memory Lunch Club, a bi-weekly gathering that has become a place of connection, laughter, and joy in our Enfield community.

For many of our clients, the Memory Lunch Club represents more than just a social event; it’s a stepping stone back into the wider community. Attending the club allows them to make new friends, venture out of their homes, and participate in activities that support both mental and physical health. For some, it might be their first venture back into the social world after a period of isolation, and we understand the importance of this transition.

Held at the St Pauls Centre in Enfield, our Memory Lunch Club provides a warm and welcoming environment. Our clients are not alone; they can be accompanied by one of our dedicated Care Professionals as part of their personalised visiting plan. This ensures that everyone feels supported and comfortable, making it easier to engage with others and enjoy the day’s activities.

What sets our Memory Lunch Club apart is the sheer amount of fun we pack into each session. From special guest appearances to dancing and engaging games, there’s never a dull moment. Our attendees get to test their knowledge with exciting quizzes, enjoy delicious and nutritious meals, and groove to some music. And of course, what’s a celebration without cake? Yes, we make sure there’s always a sweet treat to indulge in, adding a touch of sweetness to the day.

The Memory Lunch Club embodies the true spirit of community. It’s not just a gathering; it’s a celebration of life, friendship, and the shared experiences that bind us together. The laughter that fills the room, the smiles exchanged, and the connections made – these are the building blocks of a vibrant and supportive community. Our clients leave the club not just with memories of a delightful day but also with a sense of belonging and camaraderie.
