Heads-Up Hub and Café

We have been out and about again, this time visiting the Heads-Up Hub and Café at Longstone, a welcoming place for all.

Heads-Up Hub and Café - Longstone, a welcoming place for all with a neurological condition.

The Heads-Up Hub and Café are based in the Edinburgh Community Rehabilitation and Support Service and is a place where people can come together to connect, learn, and support each other; if you or someone you care for is living with:

  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Stroke
  • Brain Injury
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • MND
  • Huntington’s Disease

We were met by Jean, a volunteer with the Stroke Association, who was so very welcoming, as well as Sharon, a member of the Support Service team who explained that they can help with questions on many topics, including:

From Money issues to health & wellbeing or Technology to Work & Transport, with many other topics in between.

If you would like to pop along and meet up with others or just for some advice & support, you are welcome to pop into the café on Tuesdays between 10am and 2pm, for a reasonably priced lunch, or a cuppa and a chat .

You will find the Heads-Up Hub and Café at 62 Longstone Street, EH14 2DA, with free parking on site.

Occasionally the Hub has a week off so it’s worth calling ahead to check on 0131 443 3837.
