Live radio this morning on BBC Radio 5

National Office marketing team has recently been building closer relationships with Media City in Manchester, which is home to ITV and the BBC.

From this, we secured a piece of live radio this morning on BBC Radio 5 Live in response to the heatwave. Paul Vickers, from our High Peak office, offered advice to the elderly on how to keep safe and comfortable during the hot weather. During the piece, Home Instead Senior Care was referenced a number of times.

You can listen to this piece online here if you forward to 1:10:44 into the clip:

On the back of this, Mark Darnell’s team at East Northants contacted their local BBC media outlet and they have been invited to take part in a local TV programme to talk about the same topic.

This shows how impactful it can be to hit the media at the right time positioning ourselves as experts in elderly care. If you’d like to find out more about how you could maximise this in your area, contact our PR Officer Claire Ephgrave – email
