Dementia Friends Talk - NHS Band5Nurses

Yesterday, this photo was took.

Our Managing Director organised and hosted a Dementia Friends free talk session with a lovely group of NHS Nurses. Terry Cheung, our Managing Director discussed, becoming a dementia friend, what a dementia friend is and the role of being a dementia friend also, how to get your organisation involved and all about dementia friends.

As, Terry is our dementia friends champion.

Like to thank the NHS Nurses for having Home Instead Senior Care. We'd like to spread the word, as not everyone comes across Dementia Friends and being a dementia friend is extremely important.

Learn and become a dementia friend, join the free talk sessions.

Dementia Friends:

A Dementia Friend learns a little bit more about what it's like to live with dementia and then turns that understanding into action - anyone of any age can be a Dementia Friend

Get your organisation involved

If you register your organisation with Dementia Friends, you will get access to resources and information aimed at helping members of your organisation understand dementia and how it may affect a person.

About Dementia Friends

Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends programme is the biggest ever initiative to change people’s perceptions of dementia. It aims to transform the way the nation thinks, acts and talks about the condition.

Whether you attend a face-to-face Information Session or watch the online video, Dementia Friends is about learning more about dementia and the small ways you can help. From telling friends about the Dementia Friends programme to visiting someone you know living with dementia, every action counts.
