First Steps for setting up a care package with us here at Home Instead East Fife are :

We are a very welcoming and warming Office who are here to support you and your family in the right direction and steps along the way. We cover the following surrounding areas here at East Fife Home Instead :

Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, Leven, Lundin links, Cupar, St Andrews and the East Neuk.

We help the process of finding the best suitable package by the following steps :

  • A telephone chat to find out about you/your family member/members who are wishing for a package or advice on the correct package, the location where you/your family is based and some general information on what you are looking for and we will help guide you.

Personal Care, Companionship, Home Help, Sleep nights, Waking Night and Live in Care.

  • A Consultation is then discussed/booked with our Care Manager Jane or one of our supervisor’s who would come out to the location of where the package would be at, get to know you/your family. This is where we discuss further details of package required, medication, hours, cost and go over paperwork and leave you booklets etc.
  • After a consultation the information we have gathered is past on to our Co-Ordinator who then looks at the availability required for the package and works out what is best to suit, when the package can start and the Care Professional/ Care Professionals who would be allocated alongside the Care Manager prepping all information and transferring paperwork into a Care plan for the package to start.

We match the care professional/ care professionals to you/your family interests, hobbies and personality.

  • The Care Manager Jane would then re contact and update you/your family on timings and a suitable start date. Once this has all been agreed Jane would then ask for paperwork from the consultation to be completed and returned to us prior to the start date.
  • Start date would include the Care Manager Jane attending with the main care professional who would be attending on the days and times agreed. Jane introduces the Care professional to you/your family and makes sure everything is in place that you wished for and need.
  • 24 hour curtesy call will be done to make sure everything was smooth and went well.
  • Followed up by a 2 week service review by the Care Manager Jane to ensure that the needs and wants are met by you/ your family.

Communication is our key point through emails and telephone calls.

We have an App that you/your family can access to view care professional notes and daily tasks completed during the visit to you/your family.

There is always someone available for any questions or worries you may have.

You can do this by telephone or emailing us and we can always come out to visit you/ your family whenever required.
