What is an Evening Care Assistant role?

At Home Instead East Dorset we offer a minimum visit time of one hour with regular clients, meaning that our care team can really get to know their individualised care needs. Our passionate team of Care Professionals work with our amazing clients and their families providing exceptional care and a better quality of life.

Typical tasks within an evening care visit include:

  • Personal care, aiding with mobility, using the bathroom and getting ready for bed
  • Light housework- assisting our client with cooking and meal preparation 
  • Companionship activities  
  • Providing transport to help our clients to appointments if required

What qualifications does an Evening Care Assistant need?
