It’s official! Home Instead Senior Care has been voted the NUMBER ONE most recommended home care company in the Top 20 Home Care awards 2018, across England, Scotland and Wales.
The homecare.co.uk awards are based on nearly 10,000 independent reviews. They are from the most important people - our clients, their friends and family, who have wholeheartedly approved of the care services we provide.
Here at Home Instead Cleveland, we are delighted to have become the Number 1 Most Recommended Home Care Company in Cleveland whilst making the Top 20 homecare.co.uk awards in the North East region out of over 260 other home care companies.
Michelle Fairless who owns the company alongside her partner Gavin Morrigan said: “There is no better recommendation than from the very people who use our service, each and every day so we are thrilled.
“These are independent reviews which are so important to us; they show that we are indeed achieving our mission to change the face of ageing. But we also realise how much the reviews can help when people are looking for care for a loved one and they can trust that they are genuine, honest reviews.
“I would like to say thank you and congratulations to all our CAREGivers and office team who work so hard to care for our older generation, and who love every minute.”
Here are just some of our recent reviews:
“I have been so impressed by the love, care and attention that Home Instead Stockton have given my parents over the past couple of years. They were a Godsend for myself and my brother and sister. My parents wanted to live in their own home and finding Home Instead made this possible. All the carers are properly vetted yet they bring more than just professional care, they love what they do and they have been a friend, mentor and a loving companion for my parents. It has been so reassuring to know they are in good hands. I can’t recommend them highly enough.” Helen C; Daughter of Client
“We wanted to respect my father's wishes to stay in his own home for as long as possible following his dementia diagnosis. Fiercely independent but needing more support, we felt that Home Instead's services sounded ideal - it was the best decision we could've made. No uniforms and kind, respectful staff that have been carefully matched to dad (older guys who he can chat to and consider as friends, not carers) mean that he took to the 'intrusion' remarkably well, allowing him to manage his medication, eat properly, wash etc. Socially, dad likes to be out and about, so having someone who can drive him places, ensure he doesn't get lost, help him find the bathroom and just some company over a pint or a meal has been invaluable. The carers are our eyes and ears, flagging concerns to us before they become a bigger problem (given that we all live at a distance, and are not able to see him daily). It has enabled a good quality of life that simply wouldn't have been possible otherwise.” Jenny H; Daughter of Client
“I feel so fortunate to have found Home Instead and their team of caregivers, especially my current carer who has been coming to me for 2 1/2 years for 2 hours twice a week. She greets me with a warm smile and cheerful greeting which is followed by my breakfast with tea, a catch-up and a plan of activities. These include household tasks, cooking, ironing, gardening, along with iPad sessions and shopping outings. She is very caring and aware of my limited mobility. This, in turn, enables me to maintain much of my independence, both in and out of my home, always feeling safe in her company. My daughter, who lives an hour's drive away is so pleased that I get such care and the service meets my needs and gives her peace of mind.” Mavis S; Client
“I find that Home Instead Senior Care (Cleveland) is just what I need. The caregivers are very caring and helpful and put me at ease. I think of them as friends rather than caregivers. My life without them would not be as fulfilling.” Maureen T; Client
