Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley Directors are delighted to be presenting at Health+Care, 29-30 June 2016, Excel London.

Health+Care - the largest national integrated care conference, enabling health and social care professionals to forge new partnerships and productive ways of working in challenging times.

With four shows in one, Commissioning, Technology First, Residential Care and Home Care show it is the only event to bring NHS, care providers, public health and local authorities together representing the largest annual gathering of commissioners, providers and their suppliers in one place at the Excel London.

Gail Godson Director of Home Instead goes on to say ‘ we were delighted to be contacted by Mike Broad, Programme Director late last year  2015 and it is a pleasure to be joining  such a pre-eminent list of speakers from all parts of the Health and Social Care spectrum, over the two day event .

The shared problem is how to do more with less. Integrating health and care services holds the answer, and pursuit of this will dominate public service delivery for the next 20 years, with a shift to more Holistic care closer to home, rather than the historically outdated model which has primarily relied upon a NHS hospital setting.

Still not quite fully embedded and understood, The Care Act 2014 should have a possitive  impact, designed to empower local service users and carers, with prevention, and personalisation high on the agenda, encouraging councils across England to adopt a new pro-active role enabling quality health and wellbeing locally , rather than just simply the relentless procurement of lowest cost services, often poor in quality and which are simply delivered in very tight time restricted windows of between fifteen and thirty minutes.
